Grave Shift LTQ

Tricks and Treats LTQ

Bulletproof LTQ

LTB

The LTB this round is the Deals to Die For...  A clever mix between Halloween and Black Friday shopping.  The payout cycle is every 20 hours and the build/upgrade prizes are stat-tastic!!

Financial District Fallout

A few changes this go around with the event series.  Three LTQs planned, a case event, and a surprise Raid Boss...  All coupled with a server outage to duck any issues with the time change in the US where GREE's servers are based!

Despite an overall nice rollout of the Raid Boss, there was still an error with awarding prizes and sometimes some people got additional prizes.  Randomly awarded, yet GREE's solution was to run a script to RANDOMLY take the extras away.  HOW IS THAT EVEN FAIR?!

Also, it seems that GREE is shifting to a style of LTQ that has been employed by other GREE games by offering only "new" non-player characters (NPCs) that cannot be prehit.

Deadly Deals Event

Collect 10....  More updates coming soon

GREE continues the LTQ style with all new characters, although mercifully the targets do not have to be beaten a certain number of times before the goal is completed.  However, it appears that the stat return on at least the Beginners and Normal levels are drastically reduced from the previous two LTQs.  Perhaps this is a way to pull back from stat inflation, or maybe it is an effort to "soften the blow" of the new LTQ style that eliminates any and all prehitting...

Well...  New faces haunt the Crime City streets for this LTQ!  So you prehit some levels prepping for this event?  Cool...  GREE tricked ya!  Blending in an new style of LTQ, this one has goals set to repeatedly take down targets with multiple hits to complete the task.  Prizes seem okay, but clearly GREE has a workable solution to rendering prehits useless but it remains to be seen how often we may see this type of LTQ.  Special Thanks to real badman, xFran, nazgul, Martin CCL, and Deadwater for contributing to the Grave Shift LTQ data!

What's with the Beginners Mode??

This is by far, the best return LTQ that GREE has ever put out.  I will go into the analysis on this later, but it's amazing...

Ixtab Raid Boss

The Raid Boss event has worked it's way into Crime City and has brought along some crazy stat inflating prizes to kick it off.  By now, everyone pretty much knows how to do these, but just like a regular boss, this one escapes in 2 hours and must be defeated prior to that to count towards the goal.  Working as a team, the syndicate summons different level (toughness) bosses in order to complete the goals for the three modes:  Easy, Normal, and Elite.  All three modes have nice prizes along the way with the final prizes having good modifiers to boot.

The start of the event occured right as Halloween Trick-or-Treaters were starting for many players, so the goal information during Easy mode was not recorded as well.  Next time...

The new style of having new non-player characters as the LTQ targets is taking a firm hold in the Crime City world.  I do find that GREE's bull shit excuse for still rolling this event well after Halloween is pretty lame.  Halloween is so great, why not keep celebrating it?  I understand the need to spin your screw ups in a positive light somehow, but come on!

Anyway, the LTQ is overall pretty short and although the rewards are actually not bad for the amount of energy, the XP given has increased significantly.  However, having this event follow on the heels of the Raid Boss, the stats are pretty "low".  Admittedly, it's pretty hard to follow up an event that was handing out anywhere from a 500k increase to well over a million increase in A/D.
