Halloween Epic Boss - Melodious Funk

A Collect 20 event, Steam Machine event is filled with some reasonable prizes but the only modifiers are for Top 250, Top 25, and First Place.  Of course, Better Luck Next Time (BLNTs) are extremely prevalent with cash opens, so getting to even 15 is unlikely.  What is most interesting are the "prizes" for opened crates that do not have a Steam Machine inside...  $6,000?  An extra mafia member?  100 respect points?  Really?  Is this suppose to make up for the stat inflation we've been seeing?  I suppose a worthless 6/12 item that will never get used will keep stat inflation down, but it's the same frustration as receiving a BLNT notice.  GREE....  SMH...

 

Looks like the retiring Balthazar is going to make Tam really work on this Steam Buster prize!  GO BALTHAZAR!! 

The Treat Bag Event has started and it's a quick 2 day Collect 20 event.  The top prize is the Apple Bomb and brings a whopping 25% Explosive Attack modifier with it.  That sure would go very nicely with that monster Jack O Bomb Elite explosive from the SLTQ!!  The Top 250 and Top 25 also carry modifiers, so this is sure to be a reasonable battle for those.  With only two days to do this event, the drop rate of Bad Candies should be appropriate, right?  Maybe...

Well, the Devil's Night LTQ has finally started!!  And it seems a bit expensive energy wise to get through Normal Mode, so we will have to see what Elite looks like....   And the verdict is in on Elite mode... It's CRAZY expensive and the ending levels are certifiably insane.  Big thanks to DFA's AU Zubby for completing the entire LTQ and posting the elite jobs!

 

 

Well, after a delay getting the Boss event started, it finally was active around 8:45pm Eastern time... And it's game time!  Looks like GREE might be settling into a theme for the 100 win type boss events, although no word yet on anyone collecting boss-damage per boss level and for related tiers, but we are starting to gather as we can!  

 

Same goals appear to apply here;

  1. Defeat the boss 100 times to get an awesome prize

  2. Rewards are given for every 5 boss wins

  3. Boss rewards "collections" have tiers:  Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Epic, and Legendary

  4. Syndicate goals for 300 (or more??) wins within 24 hour period

 

The syndicate goals will always be Funky's Chopper, a vehicle with some respectible 5,781/4,730 stats.

Now it's up to team strategy, coordination, and perseverance to get as many of the Funk's Choppers!!

Graveyard Rampage

Yet another unannounce even from GREE in this series of events!  A whopping 25 new characters with Halloween-esque names were scattered around the maps of Crime City and it is the syndicate's job to go out and beat them all.  The health of each target increases with the goal level and the number of times the target needs to be defeated also varies.  In the end, the energy required to defeat the target increases as does the overall energy needed to complete the syndicate goal level.  Since the amount of target defeats decreases and the energy required increases, that means the later levels can only be completed by a smaller set of players...  This is where team strategy, organization, and teamwork play a crucial role in maximizing overall team energy!

 

Of course, GREE only released partial information on this SLTQ, but we are thankful that Assault & Flattery at least posted the rewards and stats here:  Fright Fest!!

 

So, it was left to the Crime City community as usual to document and provide the jobs and goal details for everyone.  Gingeasian started the Fright Fest SLTQ Jobs thread and many contributed, particularly Softy!  The following table is a compilation of that data.
